A wedding of two gorgeous people in a gorgeous location.

Their ceremony was in St Michael De Rupe Church, Brentor, and their reception was at Tavistock Town Hall.
It was a very windy day. Fortunately, no rain until later on. Some guests were styling their wedding outfits with wellies or trainers, which I LOVED. One guest even had sparkly trainers!
Gary and his best men looked dapper in their grey and pale blue suits.

Rachel arrived in classic country fashion, in a Land Rover! Somehow she manoeuvred up to the church in her heels and still looked amazing despite the strong winds. Her brother gave her away, and her nieces and granddaughter were her bridesmaids. Her gorgeous flowers were by Hannah of In Bloom.

The ceremony was gorgeous, with lovely live music. The cellist is their son-in-law and the flautist is their daughter-in-law to be!

Now for the even windier walk down to the bottom of the hill. It was truly going for it now, so I made the executive decision to have the group photos done at the reception venue, the town hall. Rachel & Gary had a snazzy ride in a VW Campervan with Your Wedding Wheels, which had a fluffy rug and champagne!

Their afternoon tea was done by Exe Catering (INCREDIBLE food, must I add!) and their cheese-cake (literally a cake made of cheese) was by local cheeseshop Country Cheeses. Rachel & Gary’s wedding planner was Hannah’s Weddings and Events, and it was fabulous to work with her again.

It was a gorgeous afternoon and it was an honour to capture Rachel & Gary’s wedding.
