UPDATE
Hello all! Sadly, I’m going to have to stop this project due to not having enough time to fully focus on it, especially as I’m going in to my last year of university now. I’ll leave it as a 200-photos project. This project has been great to do as it’s made me bring my camera with me everywhere which has made me more confident in using it in public and in front of people. Check out my gallery page for new projects.

A lovely day – collected Sophie from the train station, had a shop, then we went to LAS IGUANAS (!!!) with Matt.
176/365 – 25/6/17
A morning of croissants with Matt and a sleepy day of tidying and Netflixing and getting ready for Sophie to come stay tomorrow!
175/365 – 24/6/17
A day of tidying and an evening of good company.
174/365 – 23/6/17
What an action packed day – over at Tree Surfers, they were filming a promotional video and so Matt and I got involved with it. It was great fun but I hadn’t done a high ropes course in 2 years so wasn’t in best shape! Morky had been missing for a week but he’s hooome now, yay!
173/365 – 22/6/17
It’s cooled down a bit now! Just a lazy day, been sorting out my books.
172/365 – 21/6/17
A brilliant day with my best friend. We had a wander around town, went to hers and watched the SECOND-TO-LAST EVER EPISODE OF PLL and some films (it was waaay too hot to do anything other than sit like potatoes on the sofa with the fan on full blast!), and then I went over to Matt’s for dinner. Lovely day!
171/365 – 20/6/17
Another hot day – it’s literally been too hot to do anything so we’ve just had a lazy day. The pets can’t cope! It’s all very lethargic.
170/365 – 19/6/17
Such a hot day! Lunch with friends was perfect.
169/365 – 18/6/17

165/365 – 14/6/17

162/365 – 11/6/17
Headed home again today.
161/365 – 10/6/17
Today we visited our new house to drop some stuff round! It was so nice to see it again. This photo is unrelated to that, don’t get all excited!
160/365 – 9/6/17
I made flapjacks and ate so many.
159/365 – 8/6/17
A beautiful slow day in Fal.
158/365 – 7/6/17
Another day of lovely sun followed suddenly by heavy skies and drizzle! Matt and I came back to Falmouth (him just for the day, me for a few days).
157/365 – 6/6/17
This afternoon I attended a small exhibition showing the photographs that have been entered for the Young Photographer of the Year award. I’ve won this twice (2013 and 2014) and it was great to see such good entries in the last two years!
156/365 – 5/6/17
Another chilled out day of laziness and meeting friends for coffee. What an incredibly rainy day – I’ve had to leave my converse by the Rayburn to dry out overnight!
155/365 – 4/6/17
A lazy day of rearranging my books! Last night I cleaned up an old bookcase and it’s now in my bedroom with my overflow of books.
154/365 – 3/6/17
A day of strange weather, sunny then tipping it town within a few minutes! A good day to come home again with Matt.
153/365 – 2/6/17
A day filled to the brim with appointment calls, shooting at Toast’s Pop Up Art’s Fair (photos will be up soon), and a lovely meal out with friends! It was beautifully misty this morning, so calming! Yet annoyingly humid.
152/365 – 1/6/17
Busy day of walking round Truro with Hannah.
151/365 – 31/5/17
Today my family came down to visit! It was rather busy in town as it’s half term. Even got a little sunburnt!
150/365 – 30/5/17
A lovely lunchtime meet up with Matt for our first taste of falafel from the falafel van in the moor. We saw so many dogs! Spent the afternoon taking photographs for a project I’m involved in.
149/365 – 29/5/17
Lovely wander down in to town with Sophie and an attempted swing on the swings, but we were deterred by the intimidating children in the park.
148/365 – 28/5/17
A drizzly day of lunch with Matt and his dad, and an evening of Netflix and calligraphy practice. Really want to get new pens but can’t find many places that ship to the UK, and those that do are expensive! What is this weather?! Sunny and warm then drizzly and overcast within a few minutes. Sophie says the apocalypse is coming.
147/365 – 27/5/17
Our exhibition ended today! Thanks to everyone that came to see it.
146/365 – 26/5/17
A day of pottering about, hoovering, and cleaning. This evening, we went to the EcoSoc Solar Ball! It was so fun to dress up. Here is Beth & Jed, in their adorable awkwardness. They are so happy.
145/365 – 25/5/17
Another lovely day, although humid and windy at the same time! It was filled with invigilating the exam, a phone call interview, and playing cards in the sun.
144/365 – 24/5/17
Such a beautiful day! It was filled with popping to campus to return a lens, watching people splash about on the Slip n Slide on campus, sunbathing and reading with Sophie for about an hour, going to my exhibition opening (!!!!), then out for dinner.
143/365 – 23/5/17
Another busy day of setting up the exhibition and shooting a gig at Toast in the evening. Sneak preview of the photos!
142/365 – 22/5/17
An incredibly busy day! Off to The Poly at 9am to start hanging up our work, stayed there for 4 hours sorting everything out, back home, stop off in Penryn, pop in to kidnap Matt and take him to the beach, get lunch on the way… non-stop, until we got to the beach and lay in the glorious sun for a few hours.
141/365 – 21/5/17
An early start of collecting more foamboard for this week’s exhibition (!!!!!!!), cutting said foamboard with a stanley knife and not cutting off any fingers of thumbs (thanks for the help with stanley knives when I was growing up, dad!), and reading Wicked. These are my photographs that will be in the exhibition!
140/365 – 20/5/17
A lovely relaxed day of watching weird films and practicing my calligraphy.
139/365 – 19/5/17
A sleepy day of town with Hannah, watching OUAT with Sophie, and making a chilli con carne with Matt! How cute are these Ohh Deer Concertina Houses?!
138/365 – 18/5/17
After an early start and an early train ride back to Fal for Matt to make it on time to his 11am, turns out it had been changed to 10am so he didn’t make it! Spent today getting soaked through while collecting new sunglasses (how ironic), trying to not step in floodwater, and painting. Look how beautiful the mist was this morning down in the valley!
137/365 – 17/5/17
A lovely day of being mum’s technical advisor, lunch with friends, and now Matt and I are soon off to the theatre after having pizza for dinner!
136/365 – 16/5/17
This afternoon, Matt and I came home and surprised my family! It was a great success. I love travelling over the misty countryside, all gloomy and strange.
135/365 – 15/5/17
A gloomy day of gloom. Check out Chloé & Matt’s wedding photos here!
134/365 – 14/5/17
A day of sitting in bed watching OUAT and practicing my calligraphy.
133/365 – 13/5/17
A rainy day of reading and relaxing, and a food shop in which I stroked a dog that felt like velvet. So glad to have finished 2nd year, nearly! Just one more feedback session.
132/365 – 12/5/17
Even though I slept through my alarm, today was a good day. I was told I’ve been given a first for my work experience module!!! So amazed, especially as it was based on my presentation. Spent the afternoon at Matt’s, eating chocolate, with my nose in a good book.
In other news, our course’s exhibition is creeping up on us! It’s at The Poly in Falmouth, 24th – 27th May.
131/365 – 11/5/17
A less sunny day today, which was spent in Truro with good company.
130/365 – 10/5/17
What a beautiful day! A dissertation this morning, followed by a quick visit to see Matt, then a lovely wander in town.
129/365 – 9/5/17
A meh day of coming back to Fal. Travelling is so much better when Matt is with me. In other news, I’ve published new photographs of Chloé and Matthew’s wedding!
128/365 – 8/5/17
A lovely sunny day filled with dogs (yay) and hayfever (nay). Look how happy Poppy is!
127/365 – 7/5/17
THE SKYDIVE WAS AWESOME. It was such beautiful weather and all of the family came down to watch. Spent the evening having a lovely meal with friends for Katelyn’s birthday.
126/365 – 6/5/17
A lovely drizzly day today! Matt and I went for brunch at Palacio Lounge and had a nice shop around town, now I’m back home trying to sort my room out! Distracting myself from the skydive tomorrow.
125/365 – 5/5/17
A lovely day of sleeping late and reading after a night out. Here’s the photographs from Wednesday’s Pop Up Arts Fair Gathering!
124/365 – 4/5/17
A beautifully sunny day, spent painting, reading, and organising. We’re all off out this evening for a bit of socialising!
123/365 – 3/5/17
A sleepy day of post-hand in exhaustion. This evening, I photographed the monthly Pop Up Arts Fair at Toast. It was great fun! I noticed this beautiful piece of framed toast above the bar. Photos will soon be up, so keep your eyes peeled on the gallery!
122/365 – 2/5/17
Can’t believe that this morning I handed in all of my work for year 2! Now all I have left are a few meetings and feedback sessions here and there. I came home after handing in for a sleepy dazed few hours, then went off to the beach with Hannah. She went in the sea without a wetsuit, in just a bikini! She’s mental. It was a really good afternoon though, just laying and reading in the beautiful weather. This evening, Matt, Calvin, Jake, Lucy and I all went and ate a disgusting amount of food at the Meat Counter, then saw Guardians of the Galaxy Vol II.
121/365 – 1/5/17
The 1st of May, already! How?! Anyway, shock over and done with, deadline tomorrow! Today has been a day of working, getting damp from this drizzly weather, and having Matt make me cups of tea. Luckily this work has all gotta be handed in by 11am, meaning Hannah, Louise and I are off to the beach, then I’m going out for dinner and watching Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. II with Matt, Jake, and Calvin – yay!
120/365 – 30/4/17
What a drizzly day! Back in Falmouth now, just watched 10 Things I Hate About You while eating pizza with Matt. Work work work tomorrow, for Tuesday’s deadline!
119/354 – 29/4/17
What a beautiful day! We went to see Chloe & Matt off, getting married, which was beautiful, and lovely and sunny, though a little bit chilly! Can’t wait for the reception tonight.
118/365 – 28/4/17
A day of sorting things out, doing work, and coming home! We’re now sat on the sofa eating cookies and watching last week’s Doctor Who.
117/365 – 27/4/17
Deadline is swiftly approaching and I’m freaking out! Matt’s said he’ll bring round chicken nuggets later to make me feel better. I’m grateful I am motivated by fear, otherwise I’d have so much more work to do!
116/365 – 26/4/17
A lovely day of sleeping in late then going to uni with Matt, collecting prints for my hand in on Tuesday (!!!), lunch with friends, and a chilled out afternoon listening to my favourite band!
115/365 – 25/4/17
My presentation went okay! But a woman thought I was the mother of a 9 year old child… nope! Beautiful weather today, even if it was chilly!
114/365 – 24/4/365
A busy day of being on campus 10-5! Very tired but it has been a productive day. Plus we got some free books!
113/365 – 23/4/17
Back in Falmouth for my final term of second year, now! All uploaded for my deadline tomorrow, nervous about my presentation on Tuesday though! Here is some shameless self-promotion of my new blog, An Interview With Sofia D’Alessio.
112/365 – 22/4/17
A day of lunch out and then ice cream for Gran’s birthday! And an afternoon of more work.
111/365 – 21/4/17
A quiet day involving a hair cut and loads of work, and a lovely evening with friends.
110/365 – 20/4/17
Still so stumped that it’s nearly May! Today, Matt and I both needed to seriously get on with some work as deadlines are fast approaching, so he came round and we worked and ate pizza, and I also edited my photographs from yesterday with Fi. Then I went off to Cotehele with Mollie for a lovely relaxing walk, where we saw SO many dogs and had a good catch up. Back to Fal this weekend!
109/365 – 19/4/17
A lovely sunny day spent with my best friend. We spent ages shopping, eating, and watching netflix, as well as shooting for our blogs! Sofia is a ‘glambassador’ for Soap and Glory, and you can find her blog here. I’m soon to be doing a blog post on her, so stay tuned for that!
108/365 – 18/4/17
A beautiful spring day! I’ve been walking the dog and getting on with my presentation about my work experience week. Matt surprised me with these awesome keyboard stickers the other day, how cool are they?!
107/365 – 17/4/17
A sleepy day of sleeping, reading, and looking through photographs of the last week. And eating a lot of Easter chocolate, of course!
106/365 – 16/4/17
A quiet day of resting, eating chocolate, and a lovely evening with very good company.
105/365 – 15/4/17
Another very early start on the journey back home! Fortunately we got to see the beautiful sunrise, and the sun creeping slowly across the hills, from the plane. Home again now.
104/365 – 14/4/17
Our last day skiing, today! What a week it’s been. This afternoon, Matt, Sarah and I went out tobogganing again, twice, which was exhilarating and hilarious – at various points, Matt and I (both so clumsy) crashed into each other and ended up in a heap while Sarah flew past! We all stopped for a drink at the cafe at the top of the mountain.
103/365 – 13/4/17
Another early morning with skiing, but I don’t mind getting up early as I’m loving doing it! Just not enjoying the aching, but that’s to be expected, I’m a wimp.
102/365 – 12/4/17
Went on another green slope today, which was very busy which made it quite daunting. I eventually got the hang of it, though! This afternoon, we’ve all gone out together. Matt and his family hadn’t seen me ski yet, but luckily I didn’t fall over! Not that it would have surprised anyone if it did. We then went for dinner in a lovely restaurant with massive beams (yay!) and strange things on the walls like driftwood and rope. Why not?
101/365 – 11/4/17
Went on my first proper slope today! The chair lift was terrifying at first but actually really fun once I knew how to get off without falling over! In the afternoon, Matt, Sarah and I went tobogganing. This basically meant that I spent most of the afternoon going too fast and flying out of a toboggan, landing in the snow ever-so gracefully… I wish. It was so much fun and we’re definitely going to do it again this week!
100/365 – 10/4/17
Today, our group went on the magic carpet for the first time! Another busy day, but I’m having so much fun. It even snowed this evening!
99/365 – 9/4/17
This week, we’ve all got ski school in the mornings. Today, I skied for the first time! It was terrifying and exhilarating. Bet I’ll be achy tomorrow! I’ve been so overwhelmed that I even had a nap/fell asleep in the afternoon!
98/365 – 8/4/17
After a calm flight, lots of waiting, and a windy coach trip up, we’re in Val Thorens! It was such a beautiful journey over, all misty and beautiful. So so tired though, but it’s so snowy and pretty here.
97/365 – 7/4/17
A day of sun and chips, down in Looe. Tonight we’re off to France, skiing! I’m leaving my laptop at home so will upload the daily photos when I’m back
96/365 – 6/4/17
Another beautiful sunny day! Spent most of it packing but appreciating it nonetheless. This evening, mum gran and I went to see New Jersey Nights which was v good.
95/365 – 5/4/17
A lovely sunny day of wandering around town, coffee with friends, and packing for my ski trip on Saturday with Matt and the family.
94/365 – 4/4/17
Another strange muggy day of going with the family to test drive the new car, and trying to sort out my itunes library. The blossoms look so beautiful.
93/365 – 3/4/17
A slightly more productive day filled with doodling, calligraphy, sketchbook work, and netflix. Off out for breakfast with mum and Livvy tomorrow then coffee with my friends. Off skiing on Saturday!
92/365 – 2/4/17
A day of grey.
91/365 – 1/4/17
Soo after a very early start today, we spent 7 hours hanging around, for the high winds to continue to persist, so we have had to postpone our skydive (but we’re doing it in a month so it’s all good!). We brought Poppy with us and she was very excited to see everything.
90/365 – 31/3/17
A quiet day at home today, before we head off back down to Fal tonight in preparation for my SKYDIVE tomorrow. freaking. out.
89/365 – 30/3/17
Day 5 of work experience done, and I’m home! Yesterday we saw a fab theatre performance. Today, we shot a lovely young family and it went so so well and I’m really proud of the photos! Just need to up my professionalism skills!
88/365 – 29/3/17
Day 4 of work experience with the lovely Lucy Wallace! It’s been so great so far but I am terrified of how close the skydive is… it’s 3 days away! Ahhh. Here’s Lucy’s adorable kitty Lola, who even though she looks annoyed, in fact ran over to me for attention as soon as I took this shot.
87/365 – 28/3/17
A rainy day today, not as nice as yesterday. Culling, editing, and a walk up to Nkuku! It was so so pretty there, such beautiful things.
86/365 – 27/3/17
A productive day of editing, learning, and rushing off to the beach at sunset!
85/365 – 26/3/17
Off to work experience! It has been fab today and we went to some popular wedding locations (this is a place some people hire out for receptions, at a garden centre!) and the cat Lola seems to like me.
84/365 – 25/3/17
Very busy day of shopping in Plymouth! We got Livvy a prom dress, and loads of other things. Had lunch in a lovely little place, now for a relaxing evening before going off for my week of work experience tomorrow.
83/365 – 24/3/17
A lovely lazy day today of not doing much. Now off out for a birthday evening with friends.
82/365 – 23/3/17
Today, I came home to surprise with my family, and with the help of my Gran and Uncle Paul, it was successful! They were all very surprised to see me walk in the door!
81/365 – 22/3/17
A day of a McDonalds trip (post deadline trip planned a month ago) and making cards!
80/365 – 21/3/17
A very busy day today of FINISHING MY DISSERTATION PROPOSAL (yaaay), handing it in a day early (!!!), and running a billion errands all across town. Coming home soon, yay! Off to the cinema tonight with Matt to see Logan. Also we had Krispy Kreme donuts on campus today!
79/365 – 20/3/17
The first day of Spring has sprung! Woke up to the rain pounding against the window, and had a busy day of appointments and lectures. Came home, and it was beautifully sunny! Now for a film night.
78/365 – 19/3/17
A lovely day with Matt of lunch out and relaxing on the beach. We saw so many dogs but were sadly approached by none, so we just admired them from afar. Now for more work!
77/365 – 18/3/17
Just a day of work and planning things.
76/365 – 17/3/17
A very busy day of selling cakes and cookies for 6 hours in the compass! We raised a good amount of money which is good.
75/365 – 16/3/17
A day of more work and baking for tomorrow’s bake sale – in the compass 10-2!
74/365 – 15/3/17
A lovely day of doing my work (slowly but surely getting there, it’s just exhausting!) and shopping for baking supplies. Sophie, Daniella and I are doing a bake sale on Friday, so we’re baking tomorrow. Lemon and poppy seed muffins, gluten free brownies, Victoria sponge etc! We now have a massive carton of eggs just waiting to be accidentally dropped.
73/365 – 14/3/17
An early start with a 9-10.30 tutorial, 10.30 meeting, and then a lunch date/work date with Matt again! It’s been as nice as it can be, considering I have a dissertation proposal due in next week!
72/365 – 13/3/17
A stressful day of lectures (1 WEEK UNTIL THE DEADLINE) and doing work. Also we’ve organised to do a bake sale to raise more money for our skydive, so that’ll be on Friday in the Compass between 10 and 2!
71/365 – 12/3/17
A lazy day of sleeping and working, and obviously watching more Gossip Girl. Matt came round for dinner too, but is now asleep so we’re continuing our GG marathon! Here’s Sophie “being a great human being”.
70/365 – 11/3/17
Matt and I had a lovely quiet train journey back to Fal today (it’s usually very busy when we travel together!) It has been such a lovely misty day. This afternoon I’ve just been doing work for my looming deadline. I couldn’t chose out of these two photographs I’ve taken, so you can have them both!
69/365 – 10/3/17
Had a very late lie in this morning, as we were out last night celebrating Lance’s birthday until about 3am! It was so so lovely to see all my friends and have a good old catch up. I then came home and have been trying on skiing stuff for when I go skiing with Matt and his family at Easter! Here’s Morky, our last-but-not-least cat. Back to Fal tomorrow and will miss this old engine.
68/365 – 9/3/17
A lovely sleepy day of finishing my book and doing work. Poor old Poppydog hasn’t even gotten off the bed all day! Celebrating Lance’s birthday tonight with old friends.
67/365 – 8/3/17
And I’m hoooome! After a very blustery and rainy day, I’m home. And sneezy… yay. Here’s a cute photo of Doyle.
66/365 – 7/3/17
A more positive day today, yay! We had a 3 hour crit in which the 3rd year tutors looked over our current work. They were very positive and liked my work! I got come great feedback and constructive criticism and enjoyed seeing other people’s work. Then I waited for Matt’s meeting to finish, and we headed off to Palacio Lounge (probably my new favourite place, it’s so beautiful). There, we got pancakes and did some work. Tomorrow I’m off home for a few days for a friend’s birthday! I couldn’t pick a single photo from today so here’s 3!
65/365 – 6/3/17
Today I’ve just had lectures. It’s been incredibly windy, again. Only 3 weeks until my skydive! Please donate here
64/365 – 5/3/17
Another sleepy day of dragging myself out of bed to go to the library with Hannah, Louise, and Hemali. We were there for about 6 hours! It was so windy too, and I felt exhausted by the time I got home. Now for a film night with the flat! Have a vintagy photo of our daffs.
63/365 – 4/3/17
A happy lazy day today. Matt forgot that it’s an open day at uni today, and as his room is one of the ones that people have a look at, he was woken up early so came round to nap! We’ve all been drifting through the day happily listening to Ed Sheeran and getting on with work. I have a 2000 word dissertation proposal due in soon 😦
62/365 – 3/3/17
A very busy day today! Library, tutorials, then off to the beach with Hannah, then in to town to go to the Palacio Lounge to do some work and get tea, then back home, then off for a food shop! So very tired but it’s been a constructive day.
61/365 – 2/3/17
Last night, Matt and I stayed up late watching bad movies so woke up tired, but Hannah and I had planned to go to Truro today so that got me out of bed. We had a very successful trip! Many good buys purchased and good doggos patted. Here’s Hannah finding some hideous shorts that she loved.
60/365 – 1/3/17
How on earth is it the first of March?! It feels like only yesterday I was back at home for Christmas! Sophie and I went out for brunch in town which was DELICIOUS. I had pancakes with maple syrup and strawberries, and Sophie had a vegetarian breakfast. I’m planning on shooting this afternoon, then Sophie and I will be watching the new Bates Motel episode tonight!
59/365 – 28/2/17
A grey day of not feeling great. Missed this morning’s tutorial and spent the majority of the day floating through it. However I’ve been watching Gossip Girl (xoxo) with Sophie (we needed something new to bingewatch seeing as we’ve been kicked out of SkyGo) so am feeling a little better. Can’t wait for pancakes soon!
58/365 – 27/2/17
Another incredibly uneventful day, of n early appointment then 4 hours in the library on my lonesome TRYING to do work. My concentration levels were incredibly low. Then a 2 hour lecture, home for dinner, and back to uni for a late night library session with Hannah. At least I think I know what I want to do for my dissertation proposal now, which is only due in in 3 weeks!!!! Eugh.
57/365 – 26/2/17
Sooo last night we didn’t actually end up going to the Woo Hoo event..! We pre-drunk for too long and so by the time we got to the bus stop, (after waiting in the rain for the bus for 10 minutes) the bus was full! No taxis available and the cut off time of entry was coming closer, so we went home and drunk our sorrows away. Tonight we had a flat roast which was so adorable, while watching The History Boys. Tomorrow is a full day at uni, not fun.
56/365 – 25/2/17
My best gal pal Fi is down visiting me today! We’ve had a wander around town, stroked SO many dogs, and bought some books. This evening, I’m off to the Woo Hoo event with Matt and my flat!
55/365 – 24/2/17
A more relaxed day of sketchbook work and a Sainsburys trip with Hannah. This evening, Matt and I are heading round to Hannah to be social and have fun. Here’s the lovely Sophie, all ready for tomorrow’s event Woo Hoo (an electro swing party) with her 1.5l of gin! It’s rather Lion King-y.
54/365 – 23/2/17
A sunny/windy/rainy (thanks, storm Doris) day of sketchbook work in pyjamas. Off to the studios this afternoon/evening to assist Hannah. I shot this in a mirror, which was hard to set up as I had to adjust the angle of the mirror and check it in the camera, adjust it again etc. I eventually game up and just moved the camera.
53/365 – 22/2/17
Another busy day today! Important calls, rushing all round the place, long lectures, then we’ve been to the arts fair down in town this evening. Hannah and I bought some cute things and Storm Doris is on the way (she’s causing havoc, classic).
52/365 – 21/2/17
A v e r y busy day today! Off to campus to collect a lens and print some stuff out for my workbook, then on to town to meet Michael at Provodore where we did a shoot with his friend Charlie, for his new project. Then a food shop in town, quick walk up the hill home, back to campus for a lecture at 5pm, then to Matt’s to reclaim my double sided sticky tape! And Sophie and I have just watched the new episode of Bates Motel and so are emotionally distraught, as to be expected. Here’s a photo of a snazzy almond coffee from Provodore. Tomorrow, Hannah and I intend to spend a while in the library to do loads of book work… We’ll see how that goes!
51/365 – 20/2/17
Back down in Falmouth today! Rushed back into busy lectures and hectic life. Here’s a photo of a man on the train.
50/365 – 19/2/17
A beautiful drive across the moors to Torquay to meet the fabulous wedding photographer Lucy Wallace at a wedding fair. I’ll be working with her at the end of March! It was the first wedding fair I’d ever been to (obviously) and when asked if I’d bought a dress yet, mum’s face was a picture!
49/365 – 18/2/17
Another chilled out day with the family, mainly involving going into town on a book haul and shampooing the dog! Here’s my shampooing partner in crime, my sister Livvy.
48/365 – 17/2/17
A lovely chilled out day doing work and watching Pitch Perfect 2. Here’s my adorable Poppy Dog.
47/365 – 16/2/17
A busy day of shopping, seeing the matinee performance of Mamma Mia, and going out for dinner!
46/365 – 15/2/17
A quieter day today of packing, editing photos, and organising things. I’m now home for a few days (mum’s booked Mamma Mia tickets for tomorrow!), and am already sneezing due to my pets but I love them too much to care. I’m soon to be shooting with Michael next week when I’m back in Fal, so keep an eye out for that!
45/365 – 14/2/17
A v e r y busy day today! I met up with the fabulous Michael Larkin, of whom I shall soon be collaborating with for a very snazzy project! I spent a lot of time in the library and Stannary doing work, and then Matt and I went and got a Chinese takeaway before going bowling with the flat for Beth’s birthday! Can’t believe this lil bean is now 20.
44/365 – 13/2/17
Okay so I’m cheating here, I took this on the 12th, but I’ve had a busy day! This morning we came back from the Fish Sheds, then I had 3 hours of lectures.
43/365 – 12/2/17
A lovely windy day, staying in a holiday cottage right next to the sea! Had a lovely walk along the coast this afternoon, and have spent a lot of the day reading an doing a massive jigsaw with Sarah. Here’s a photo of Matt being all dramatic by the sea in his hat.
42/365 – 11/2/17
It snowed! No matter how briefly or heavily, it snowed. Off on our weekend away now.
41/365 – 10/2/17
A quiet day at Matt’s before going off on a weekend away with his family.
40/365 – 9/2/17
A day filled surrounded by family and supporting each other. A day of mourning. We are all but little fish swimming in the dark.
39/365 – 8/2/17
A sleepy day of doing laundry, changing bedding, reading through books for a new project, and packing to go home. We’re getting the train home this evening which means it’ll be dark, so no pretty views to see out of the window! I’ve rented out an 85mm from the stores (which today’s photograph was taken with) so I’m going to try experimenting with it this weekend.
38/365 – 7/2/17
An incredibly busy day of tutorials, photographing people across the cafeteria, and a trip to Truro with Hannah. Very tired, and I’m back home tomorrow.
37/365 – 6/2/17
Another drizzly day, another day of standing in the rain waiting for the bus to arrive. Had lectures and then had my passport photo taken (tragic), and have spent the evening testing out calligraphy styles. Here’s Sophie being her classic plant-lover self.
36/365 – 5/2/17
Today, Sophie, Beth, Maude and I all went out for brunch. Good Vibes t was so cute and lovely, I hadn’t been there before! We then had a wander around town and came back home, and I’ve been doing sketchbook work and sorting out my room since then. Here’s a photo of Sophie’s amazing-looking avocado on toast she had.
35/365 – 4/2/17
A sleepless night followed by spending 3 hours in the scanning suite with Hannah! It was enjoyable but tiring, even though I was only there to keep her company. Then I went to Matt’s, came home, and had an afternoon and evening spent making up games with Sophie and reading. We’re all soon to watch Les Misérables and undoubtedly cry.
34/365 – 3/2/17
Another incredibly windy and blustery day as Storm Doris torments us. Today involved work placement phone calls and a showing of Footloose with the film society.
33/365 – 2/2/17
Another incredibly rainy and windy day, to the extent where some massive trees were ripped out of the ground on campus. Good thing I haven’t left the flat! Today marks 3 years that Matt and I have been together, and we’d intended to go out for dinner but were too lazy/tired/the weather is bad. Pizza, garlic bread, and cookies at home for us!
32/365 – 1/2/17
Another typically grey and drizzly day in Fal! Matt had to leave this morning for a workshop and seminar but I had a nice lie-in nonetheless, and have since been doing sketchbook work for my new project! Here’s today’s gloomy cactus pic, who, along with Beth, is still in denial about Christmas being over. He is called Peanut.
Also have a look at Sofia’s blog, she gave me a special mention!
31/365 – 31/1/17
An incredibly busy day today! Up at 7 (while it was still pitch black outside!) for my 9-10.30 tutorial with my new group, did work in the library until Hannah’s tutorial finished at 12, then we went off through the grey rain and drizzle shopping. I ended up getting a few more books (surprise surprise) and some more folders for my projects. These are all of my sketchbooks since I’ve started uni! From the brown spiral bound type thingies onwards.
30/365 – 30/1/17
Back to Fal today, it was so grey and misty and drizzly! It hung like a wet blanket. Had a dissertation lecture and went to the library with Hannah and Adam afterwards which was thrilling, and printed a lot of documents for my sketchbooks.
29/365 – 29/1/17
Matt’s sister turned 18 today! We went out for dinner at Prezzo to celebrate. Here’s my kitty Doyle being bored of the grey misty drizzle.
28/365 – 28/1/17
A lovely Saturday back home. Had a lie in, read my book, and went for a wander in town with Dad. We bought some incredible-smelling candles and a load of books! Tonight we’re having a roast and are watching Suicide Squad. So here’s a few of my books in front of the fire.
27/365 – 27/1/17
Home today!!! A busy but good day of having my first Subway with Hannah, packing and dropping off my bags at Matt’s, back with Hannah for a lecture (a screening of Badlands), then back to Matt’s and to the train station! We had to stand for about 35 minutes as the train was so busy, which to be expected as it was a Friday evening. I also surprised my family as they didn’t think I’d be back until tomorrow. Yay! Here’s Poppy.
26/365 – 26/1/17
Another grey and windy day. Got feedback from the project I handed in at the start of January, it was positive and very helpful. Had a quick half an hour with Matt and his friends, then came home to find a small parcel waiting for me. My best friend knew I wasn’t feeling great and sent me a teeny tiny message in a jar! It’s so cute and personal, I’m so grateful.
In other news, Sophie and I are doing a skydive soon, please donate to Children’s Hospice South West here! Click on me (really pretty photo of Sophie and I to convince you to donate.
25/365 – 25/1/17
Another quiet day of printing off contracts, reading, organising my life, and going to an arts fair. Here’s my super beautiful organiser.
24/365 – 24/1/17
So last night, a building near our flat was on fire. We’re not sure why, but it was very fast and sudden. The whole road was blocked off and there were a few fire engines and police vehicles too. Have a look at the street lights in the photograph for size reference!
23/365 – 23/1/17
A busy day of food shopping, lectures, chilling at Matt’s, going out for dinner, and seeing La La Land! A dramatic night but that’ll be a story for tomorrow’s photo.
22/365 – 22/1/17
Another chilled day of sleeping and reading and hoovering.
21/365 – 21/1/17
A fab day of reading a lot and naps with Matt. Watching The Notebook tonight with the flat, haven’t seen it before!
20/365 – 20/1/17
Hectic day. Not a good one. Am soon off to watch Trainspotting with Matt then have an evening of trashy 80’s films with Hannah and Ali.
19/365 – 19/1/17
A day of organising things and workshops. Now I’m watching the sunset from Matt’s room.
18/365 – 18/1/17
Today involved a web workshop, in which a web designer looked over our websites and advised how to make them better. I then went to Matt’s, where we watched the last episode of Sherlock. We then went for a lovely walk in town, so today’s photograph is him taking in the view from the window in Fat Face.
17/365 – 17/1/17
A quiet day of updating my website today. Here’s a photograph I took today, you can find the rest here! Big thanks to Maude for letting me use her ring.
16/365 – 16/1/17
A fab day of chilling at Hannah’s while she was making her new website, and a gloriously amazing meal out with Matt, Tee, Jake, and Calvin at The Meat Counter! We all ate so much.
Big thanks to Matt who got me an adorable teeny weeny cactus! It’s a keyring but I’m worried he’d get damaged/lost so he’s on the windowsill with the other succulents. He’s now called Lupin.
15/365 – 15/1/17
A lovely day of doing nothing much. Matt and I watched last week’s Sherlock, chilled in the flat, then went to his. Read my book, came back home, and am now making dinner and soon to be watching a film with Sophie.
14/365 – 14/1/17
WE GOT A HOOOUUUUSSSEEE! We all got up super early and dragged ourselves across town to look at a beautiful house for next year, and we got it! It’s so beautiful and I can’t wait to focus it. Celebrating with a Chinese tonight with Matt, and watch a film with the flat. Sophie’s relieving her house-hunting stress with some colouring.
13/365 – 13/1/17
Bleak day of tidying and sorting myself out mentally. Now to finish this season of Bates Motel with Sophie! Snapped a cheeky semi-selfie while she was trying on my Converse. I love the light at this time
12/365 – 12/1/17
A very very very rainy day today! This morning we had more house viewings are were literally all soaked through when we got home. Had a tutorial this afternoon, and sorted out my work experience! Then went to see Matt and came home to binge watch more of Bates Motel with Sophie.
11/365 – 11/1/17
Another early start today, eugh. After I came home from my workshop, I tidied my whole room and put up some more bunting, and then these photographs. We then had a sudden house viewing which we sped down in to town for, and after that, Sophie and I traipsed to Pets At Home so she could possibly buy a fish, yet she fell in love with a hamster called Henry and was sad she couldn’t adopt him. Also a massive dog wee’d all over the floor in there.
10/365 – 10/1/17
Because Hannah’s silly, she sat/rolypolyed on to her glasses, so we went to town to get them fixed. I actually completely fell over on my way in to town and ripped my jeans at the knee so you could see the torn skin from the pavement, I’m so embarrassing. No one saw though… I think. We had a nice wander around and got pasties for lunch. I then came home and went for a food shop with Maude, to return and binge watch more Bates Motel with Sophie!
9/365 – 9/1/17
Today after my lecture, I was so tired that I went to Matt’s flat specifically for a nap. I then woke up two hours later to a missed call from Maude, we’d both forgotten we had house viewings booked for this afternoon! We then both scrambled to meet and spent about 3 hours traipsing up hills and going through other people’s houses.
8/365 – 8/1/17
Today, I literally got up and out of bed due to the promise of dogs. Hannah’s mum’s down in Falmouth for a few days and brought their dogs along! We went for a walk from Gylly beach to Swanpool beach, and it was very lovely and windy. Here’s Hannah, who appears to have given up, and Rufus.
7/365 – 7/1/17
Literally done nothing today, just chilled in the flat and watched Netflix with Sophie, Beth and Becky. Here’s Beth, after we found some Christmas crackers. She is in denial that Christmas is over. RIP 2016’s Christmas, 2016-2016.
6/365 – 6/1/17
Today, Matt and I had a walk down in to Falmouth, which was lovely and refreshing. It was very chilly but we wrapped up.
5/365 – 5/1/17
Stayed in bed aaaall day today! I did get up for a shower and to put on fresh pyjamas, but have had a relaxing day watching films. On other news, I’m participating in a skydive soon! Check out my fundraising page here
4/365 – 4/1/17
Today I went to Truro with Hannah, Jessie and Ali. It was cold and grey but a nice day.
3/365 – 3/1/17
DEADLINE DAY. Had very little sleep. 7am wake up, freezing cold morning, meet Hannah on the bus and when we get to the library to print off our critical reviews, the printers aren’t working. It wasn’t even 9am and we were already so done with the day. Finally they get working, we hand in and get breakfast, and head to asda to buy a pizza. We then ate said pizza at Hannah’s, chilled for a few hours, then had a workshop type thing. Busy day and I’m exhausted. At least the sky was pretty when I got home.
2/365 – 2/1/17
Back in Falmouth now! It was sunny but still very cold today, and I’ve spent the afternoon finishing up my work for tomorrow’s deadline. Happy to be back but didn’t want to have to leave home this early in the year! Could have done with another week at home.
1/365 – 1/1/17
Matt and I had originally planned to go to a friend’s NYE party, yet sadly neither of us felt quite up for it due to being all bunged up and snotty (gross) so we spent the night in with his family, which involving a hilarious game of spoons and a lot of drinking.
We then spent today watching FRIENDS lying on the sofa, and I eventually came home this evening and watched The Jungle Book with my family, before writing this! I’m soon off to pack as I’m returning to Falmouth tomorrow – I have a deadline of Tuesday 3rd 😦
